1. The fourth event in the Cyprus Services Orienteering League for the 2015-2016 Season, will be held on Wednesday 09 December 2015 and will take place in the UNPA, Nicosia, hosted by UNFICYP.
2. Details of the event are as follows:

Event Details
Date: Wednesday 09 December 2015.
Location: Registration, start and finish will take place at the sports pitches, UNPA. 
Travel: Come off the Limassol-Nicosia highway at the first exit after the big stadium on the left of the highway. Take the first exit towards Troodos and stay on that road over several lights and roundabouts to a T-junction with a big church on your right. Turn right here and go along till you see Nicosia University on your right just after some lights. Take the next turning left which is on a bend to the right. This will take you to the main UNPA gate (Foxtrot Gate). Military ID cards or gate pass required. The registration, start and finish will be near the sports pitches. From Foxtrot Gate follow the RED set of tac arrows to number 8.

Timings: Registration will be available from 0930 hrs and the course will be open from 0945 hrs. Last start will be at 1145 hrs and the course will close at 1300 hrs. 
Courses: Two courses will be available:
Blue Course (AOA B) - A technically difficult course (TD5) of approximately 6 kms.
Red Course (AOA C) - A less difficult course (TD3) of approximately 4.5 kms.
Terrain: Good runnable ground consisting of undulating, open bondu with small steep ridges and re-entrants, criss-crossed with numerous roads, tracks and paths. There are several small OOB areas which will be marked on the maps. Please note that there are some small, unmarked patches of barbed wire out on the ground. These are obviously visible in daylight and can/should be circumnavigated to avoid injury.
Map: The 1:10,000 ‘UNPA’ Map updated November 2014. Maps will be pre-marked. Loose control descriptions will be available. Sample of map is below:
Equipment: Runners are to provide their own compass and whistle.  Full leg coverage is recommended but not compulsory.
Facilities: There are toilets and shower blocks located adjacent to the sports pitches.  Water will be available at the registration area. Further refreshments and food may be purchased from concessions in the UNPA (Cost Cutter & CESSAC).
